I chose to feature a friendly cat in my design to make people smile. Especially because this particular election was so tense and polarizing, I thought the cat would serve as a non-intimidating reminder to cast a ballot.

At the WPA exhibition, visitors were welcome to take copies of their favorite posters to bring home with them. Although the gallery didn’t keep track of numbers, I remember that when I visited, all my posters were already gone; I couldn’t even get one for myself!
